Now...I'm all for using new materials and not wasting but I'm not sure what's going on over at the New Zealand Nature Store where they sell plenty of goods made of possum wool. Locals say it's lighter and warmer than sheep's wool...and it's one of the most flame retardant fabrics around. Think about it - have you ever seen a possum burst into flames?

I think more possums ought to be more "tire" retardent rather than "fire" retardent.
